Kevin and a few of his colleagues joined the ActNow! Team that took part in the Vancouver Sun Run, the largest 10K in Canada. For the first time in its history, the Sun Run had over 50,000 registered participants. April 23, 2006.

The BC Government announced changes to the Workers Compensation Act that will help professional firefighters suffering from occupational diseases, like specific forms of cancer. Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Kevin Falcon joined Surrey School Board Chair Shawn Wilson at the site of the future elementary school in West Rosemary Heights. The province approved $2 million in funding to purchase the school site at the corner of corner of 156th Street and 36th Avenue.
